All stories are  based on  the author's childhood but the characters are fictional. The story Peyara Bagan' is part of the writer's upbringing. 'Sada Pahar' in the Sundarbans is written about the incidents of guest birds. And 'Megh boleche jab jab khela' is an example of how to play sports at 'low cost or no cost'./ এ বইয়ের রয়েছে তিনিটি গল্প। সবগুলোই লেখকের ছেলেবেলার কিন্তু  সমস্ত চরিত্রই কাল্পনিক। যেমন ‘পেয়ারা বাগান’ গল্পটি লেখকের বেড়ে উঠার অংশ। ‘সুন্দরবনে সাদা পাহাড়’ হলো অতিথি পাখিদের ঘটনাবলি নিয়ে লেখা। আর ‘মেঘ বলেছে যাব যাব খেলা’ হচ্ছে ‘স্বল্প ব্যয়ে বা বিনা ব্যয়ে’ কীভাবে খেলাধুলা করা যায় তার নমুনা।
