Once upon a time there was a Thakurma with a basket full of stories which had kings, queens, foxes, crocodiles, rakkhoshis and, of course, heroes. A great man called Dakshinaranjan Mitra Majumdar came along and had the brilliant idea of collecting and writing these stories, which have entertained generations since. And now, after many years, this book retells and reimagines the same stories with some twists for the new generation of young readers.
